Eye Color Vs Eye Shadow

So I was thinking about what topic I wanted to blog about next and a good idea came to me. I get a lot of questions from people asking me what eye shadows look good on their eyes. It all comes down to what color of eyes your have and if you mix the wrong colors you could end up looking more gray and sick then lively and beautiful. So here are the Do's and Dont's of Eye Color and Eye Shadows

1. Brown Eyes

A lot of people will say they wish they had blue eyes because brown is really neutral but in reality you can mix almost any colors with brown! Some of the best colors are light browns and deep browns depending on what shade of brown your eyes are. You can also mix some deep purples, blacks, reds, and even a liner of blue to make your eyes pop. Now the blue might be a scary thought and believe me I was scared to hear that too but a friend showed me that if you just do a blue streak where your eyeliner would be it wont be to much and your eyes will pop! Another really pretty color with brown eyes is gold, for a night out on the town or a party gold is the way to go. For a natural look light browns, cream, and even some light pinks and neutrals are good to go with. So to all my brown eyed people including myself, there are LOTS of options! :)

2. Blue Eyes
Oh do I love people with blue eyes! You guys have a stunning eye color but you must be careful! Too much of any color will scare away the beauty they carry. Because blue eyes already pop the features of a face sometimes a completely natural look is the way to go but if you are seeking some color, light browns and creams are the way to go. you could also do some greys with a hint of black if done right. Gold and silver are also a very pretty route to try if you are looking for a soft cool look. I wouldnt steer towards yellows, purples, reds, or other blues. These colors will wash out the eyes or make the appreance of you being tired. Crazy right? The littlest changes can make a worlds difference to your face.

3. Green Eyes
Now you gingers with green eyes or anyone else fortunate enough to have green eyes, you follow under the same rules as the blue eyed people do. Light browns, neutrals, and some deeper browns for events. You can even try some peachy eye shadows or red brown colors for a brighter look to your eyes. Again natural will already  make your face glow so you dont need a lot to stand out. :)

4. Gold Eyes
Now this may seem crazy but I have friends who have gold eyes, and no they are not vampires.... But you guys need to rock deep browns, reds, and blacks. You guys are king of the smokey eyes and can pull off some amazing eye contour. Dont be afraid to stand out because your eyes already speak for themselves.

   5. Black Eyes
For those who have eyes that are so dark they seem black it may be harder to make them pop. I would wear lighter browns, neutrals, and cream colors on the eyes. Maybe even a light sparkle or gold to help. This will bring out the lighter colors and will make your eyes a beautiful color:)

6. Color Changing Eyes
Yes I know there are you out there whos eyes change color on the daily, but this just leaves you with endless options! I wouldnt go for too many wild colors though, that might make the changing colors not seem so unique. More naturals and neutrals will be a big help for you guys:)
