Summer Time Swim Wear!

Now that it is the warmest time of the year a new trend begins to appear; Swim Wear! One of my favorite things about summer is all the cute summer clothes and the swim suits! Whether its one piece, tankini, or bikini its always fun to see whats in fashion or whats coming back into fashion. This post is on some of the newest trending swim suites you can find this year and the pros and cons to them.
The big question? Where can you find these amazing suites? I found mine at Target, you can also find them on Etsy, Walmart, Holister, Zumes, and many other swimwear and clothing stores.

High Neck Bikini Top

This trend can not only be found in swimwear but also in crop tops, t-shirts, and even dresses. This new and upcoming fashion is spreading quickly and is found in a few different fashions such as the bikini, tankini, and even in some one piece swim wear.
Pros: Even for a bikini it comes off as a more modest piece unless see through. These tops can be also used as crop tops for the current fashion.
cons: You may find yourself with an odd tan line, but its still super cute!

High Waisted Bikinis

This is definitely a fashion we have seen in the past. This fashion was often used for the plus size view that made a huge statement and made the plus size the new hit thing. Soon after designers realized it couldnt just reach that far and now it is a fashion for anyone to find. Definitely another style that covers up more but has a high fashion statement and such cute designs. You can even find the high waisted swimwear in shorts, and pants, so a fit for literally anyone! How fantastic is that?!
Pros: high in fashion, modest, many fun trends
Cons: If you like that super bikini look you might find this style almost towards a one piece and it has higher tan lines.

Open Top One Piece

Now these swimwear piece are something to talk about. Want something modest but with a little edge or class? These one pieces are definitely for you. With its nice one piece look, designers have added lace, and open tops (ripped look), or deep sweet heart to add a little vintage sweetness. You will usually find the ripped top tied in with the high neck for an edgier or sexier look. For a more vintage and dainty look you will find more of the deep v-neck swim pieces with lace and floral designs.
Pros: Very modest but also keeps the edgy and classy look. Great for the ocean! Id recommend this to young girls who want that classy look without having to get tiny bikinis to think they look nice. This look makes them feel classy and show off their body in a modest and beautiful way.
Cons: If you looking for that nice stomache tan this might not be the way to go.

Holy One Piece

The reason for the name holy is because these on pieces are literally designed with holes, and rips. Though you still get that one piece it also allows you to have that two piece designer, sexier look or more revealing look to it. Very high in fashion right now and is also starting to appear in clothing.
Pros: One piece and different styles show off the body in different ways
Cons: Can be very revealing for those more reserved, and crazy tan lines!

Summer Hair Care

Ok everyone so its officially summer time for me and that means summer time hair care! Summer is different for everyone so every ones routines will be different but here is how I try and keep my hair healthy and restored.

Before I jump in to my tips I want to start by talking about my hair type in general. In 90% of my photos my hair is usually straight and thats because its just easier to handle but in reality I have ringlet curly hair. It is a blessing and a curse to me, but I have learned to handle it over the years. Since my hair is naturally curly it is naturally more dry and brittle and doesnt grow nearly as fast. (Definitely the down side to curly hair.) Knowing your hair type is so important because you can learn new ways to help your hair grow, look healthier, and feel softer. Heres how I work to achieve that.

1. Dying Hair
I find myself in the water so much in the summer time that dying it really just isnt worth it, so in the summer time I stay clear away from hair dye. Yes this is really hard for me because I love having my hair dark and I hate regrowth but its totally worth it I promise. If you do decided to keep dying or lightening your hair in the summer time please make sure to do deep condition treatments on it to keep the roots of your hair from being fried.

2. Deep Condition Treatments and Scalp Treatments
If you are the type that loves head massages then this will be your new addiction. Going to a salon or getting some deep hair conditions you can do at home is sooo helpful in the summer time. If you are in the water a lot whether its in a pool, river, lake, or ocean, your hair will get nasty. Deep conditions and scalp treatments go in and refresh the hair allowing it to become moisturized and help the damaged cuticle. Now you definitely dont want to over kill your hair with this either. If you know you have super damaged hair I would recommend this twice a week with a home treatment. You can find these treatments almost anywhere such as Walmart, walgreens, ect. If you already have pretty healthy hair or virgin hair (Never been colored or lightened), I would recommend a treatment once a week to every two weeks. You dont want to over oil your scalp or you will have really bad greasy hair and nobody likes that. If you have thicker hair you dont want to do it as often as well.

3. Biotin
If you havent heard of this yet PLEASE JOIN THE CLUB. Biotin vitamins are just vitamins that enhance the production of oils in your scalp and will help your hair to grow faster and or make it thicker. There are many different types of biotin that you can buy and again its literally everywhere and is a decent price. I know there are many other hair vitamins you can buy and im sure they all work but this is the most common one used. You need to take it consistently and dont expect results in a week, vitamins enhance growth but dont speed the process up, over time you will notice a difference in your hair.

4. Monthly Hair Trim
Now for those of you who HATE cutting your hair I feel ya, its like the most dreadful thing because all that hard work goes to the ground, BUT this is actually one of the best things for your hair. Once you have dead ends on your hair their is no way to bring them back to life. No matter how many oils you put in your hair it will not help. Your hair will send all its oils to the dead ends because it too doesnt understand this fact. So if you go and get your hair trimmed, and I mean not even an inch every month your hair will grow faster and will look healthier because all the oils wont be trying to heal the dead ends. It is hard to do at first I know but honestly just by doing this I have seen a big difference in my hair.

5. Eating Healthy
Ok so I have to admit I really do suck at this tip a lot.... What you eat is literally what people will see on the outside, sadly its such a true fact. Even if you are a naturally small person you will notice other things then your weight that arent pretty. Your hair wont be shinny or pretty because you arent giving it the natural vitamins it needs. Soda, Sugar, Candy, Deadly hair foods. Your hair wont gain any nutrients and will st

op producing those nutrients. Try going on a cleansing diet and just drop soda from your habits and you will notice a small difference in your hair.

Everything ads up over time so I promise if you take the time to be healthy and set goals you will see the results in every way. Good Luck with your summer routines! Let me know how you keep your hair in check! Im always looking for new and great ways to improve my hair. :)

Wedding Talk! Engagements!

So for those who dont know I recently got engaged! So that is why I havent been blogging lately, been super busy planning and been on some crazy fun adventures that I cant wait to share with you guys. Since it is wedding season I thought I would post on some different wedding topics, changing the blog up for a bit. :P

Today I wanted to talk about engagements, the actual moment it happens, the posting frenzy after, and the pictures. Well I can tell ya ive heard of the craziness that takes place after it happens but I had no idea what was in store for me. So I wanna start by giving you a few tips on what to expect when that big moment happens to you, and some important do's and dont's.

Do's

1. Whether you know the big question is coming or not, ALWAYS be surprised or act surprised. Its a HUGE moment for that person to get down and ask so dont ruin it for them! Even if you catch a hint of whats going on always smile and make the moment as special as possible, you will never forget it.

2. (Optional) If you do have a hint that the question is coming soon, ALWAYS be prepared. You dont know if you will be on camera, if people will be around, and pictures will definitely be taken. I knew it was coming soon so I just made sure that I always looked cute and decent. You dont always have to be all fancy and dressed up.

3. If someone is there to take pictures, get as many as possible, its a moment you want to remember forever and the more pictures the longer the memory last.

Dont's

1. Dont immedietly start posting pictures of your engagement. A very special moment just happen with you and your future partner and you want to keep that moment special and not let the entire world in quite yet. Make the moment last, trust me you will be glad you did.

2. Dont hold back. If you are the on praposing your saying yes and you start to get emotional, dont hold back, let them see how you really are feeling and it makes the moment that much more special.

3.   Dont always focus on the ring. Yes I agree the ring is a big part of getting married but it is just a symbol to what you two hold. It is such an exciting thing but dont get caught up in the moment all about the ring. Remember the ring didnt ask you to marry it.

Posting to the world

Now that you have had that special moment you can post to the world BUT make sure to post only what you want the world to see. Some times we get caught up in the moment and want to post everything that just happened when some things could be personal. A good picture or two to post is a picture of the ring on your hand, and you two together as happy as ever. If there are people you dont want to see the announcement then you shouldn't post it all over social media. Remember you dont want creepers at your wedding.
The next few post I will be posting will be about engagement photos and planning. I would post most on here but I dont want to bore you all so to wrap it up heres a few pictures of my engagements and the ring!
